There are three things that you can count on when planning your event:  The weatherman is rarely right; your guests will never know what didn’t go as planned; and these sizing charts will never fail you.

When planning an event, the most critical calculation to make is how much room you’ll require.  Different seating arrangements call for different space allocations. For instance a cocktail party has a much different foot-print than a formal sit-down dinner.
